Preparing a Development Application (DA)

Development Applications are required in NSW for the construction of most buildings as well as for most new uses of premises or sites.

Neustein Urban specialises in advising councils and the private sector on Development Applications and compliance with state and local government planning controls.

Every development requires a Statement of Environmental Effects (planning report). We prepare these statements and assist or manage production of the plans and reports required for DAs. This involves co-ordinating the work of architects, surveyors, site contamination experts, engineers, traffic and transportation consultants, acoustic engineers and project managers.

Our negotiation skills achieve approvals for most DAs. If a DA is refused and we consider it to be worthy of approval, Neustein Urban will work for its approval through council processes and the Land and Environment Court.
